In recent years, building a website has become very easy. Everyone can build their website by using some free or paid platforms like WordPress.

Although building a website is easy but keeping it safe from attacks is difficult. However, many of the business owners are still unaware of website security.

Normally, website attacks are not meant to steal your data. Also, they are meant to set up a temporary web server, use your server as an email relay for spam, or serve some illegal files.

Other common website attacks include Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attack, Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) Attack, or Ransomware attack. In these attacks, hackers encrypt your important data and demand ransom to provide you access.

Once you have added your site to this platform, it will show you the DNS details. At this time, you can enable or disable this platform for some subdomains.

Simply toggle the cloud to orange for activation. I recommend you add the naked domain name of your site. In this way, it will work smoothly on your WWW domain name and its other versions.

After you have all done, click on the Continue button to move to the next step.

4.     Pointing Your Domain Name to Name Servers

After activation of your domain name and subdomain names, you will be greeted with name servers on the next page. Now, you have to replace old domain names with this platform.

  • Now, replace the old name servers with new ones, and don’t forget to click the update button.
